Our winter and end-of-year celebrations are fine examples of the culture of Connecticut Friends School. The beauty of being “small by design” is that children feel empowered by their significant role in the festivities. We celebrate cultural diversity and rites of passage with an annual performance of African drumming at our graduation ceremony, and graduates glow with confidence as they deliver their farewell speeches.
